The St John’s Church Garden Party was a lovely relaxed event. Plenty of time to chat, enjoy the garden games, and stroll round the beautiful garden of Lane Farm, and have tea with lots of delicious home-made cake. Each year the numbers attending seem to increase! As usual the musical entertainment was superb, all provided by talented local groups:
A special mention must go to Mike Eden, who is a regular favourite and Holly Niven, accompanied by her father Keith, who provided a rousing finish to the proceedings.
As an added bonus, over £1900 pounds was raised for the church, including over £100 from the sale of donated jigsaws.
